Adulting and Rituals of Passage among Adolescents

Our role as a parent is to guide them through the various stages of life they are about come face to face with.

Adulting

Adulting is perhaps a new term that describes the ways of being an adult. Like adolescents or young adults doing adult duties like paying the bills, getting real work, or first-time mommies and daddies. Nonetheless, adolescents or young adults are not the only ones learning adulating. In fact, there are at least 60% of adults still learning to be real adults. Maturity comes naturally but it really depends on how early the child, an adolescent or an adult mature.

However millennials describe the term adulting, it could be tagged as the next step after rites of passage. These changes in our life ought to challenge our strength and required us to grow and mature quicker. And even if we did, there is still a child that’s been suppressed through the years of adulting.
