Lots of distractions along the way

The teenage stage is the life’s period in which the children have lots of activities in their to-do list. They need to do some house chores, school activities, chat with friends, and even have some date. That’s the reason why some activities are neglected and, sad to say, personal hygiene is one of these activities. Sometimes, it could also be due to procrastination during night time. 

Depression

Tips on Encouraging Teens to Take a Bath with a Good Shower Set

  • If your teen already understand puberty, it is better to remind them to rinse in the shower every day. Explain to them that this hygienic step will make them feel good and look better.
  • In case, the reason behind the avoidance of bath by the teens is procrastination, then it is better if you would impose some consequences the moment they do not take a shower within the day. For example, you won’t buy them their preferred shower set inside their bathroom. Doing this, they will be encouraged to take a shower.
  • If mental health is the root of the problem, let them speak with a therapist or mental health consultant.
